Virtual Construction Model

Ticon is based on the Virtual Construction Model. All available project data is collected in this virtual model. The power of this model is the complete integration of all data and the links between the data elements. For instance, among many others, links between estimation items and planning, are defined within the model.
Insight anywhere, anyplace
The result of using this virtual model is instant insight in all related data. E.g.; if you want data of all objects related to a scheduled item, you will be able to retrieve that data instantly. One of the main advantages of this Virtual Construction Model is change management. Because all data links are defined, consequences of changes are visible at once, for all parts of the construction. Because the model provides structural change management, it is possible to prevent many construction failures caused by interluding changes.
Distinct links between data
Within the Virtual Construction Model all project data is saved. Among others: object data, estimation data and scheduling data. The user has instant insight in the reciprocal cohesion using the powerful model overview.
Intuitive project managing
Changes in the Virtual Construction Model are always made in a model. A model can be, among others, an object tree, a calculation or a planning. A powerful tool to manage these models is the Model Manager. This tool provides intuitive means to control the models and thus the entire construction process.
Always working with up-to-date data
Models do have versions. Ticon provides extensive functionality to use version control intuitive and with ease. You will always be working with the most up-to-date data and will also have insight on made changes instantly.
User permissions
By granting permissions to users for specific parts of the Virtual Construction Model, you can distinctively define which users have access to project data and which of them are allowed to change the data.
