Ticon may be extended with the extreme powerful Business Process Management (BPM). Ticon contains a special interface that allows starting BPM system processes. The results of these processes will be processed in Ticon. This results in optimal execution of tasks and processes

Typical BPM processes are validations on estimates, project schedules, or verification processes from within System engineering en the purchase process.
Process management when changing stages
Ticon´s `State machine` feature is the default point of integration with BPM. This function features stage definitions on both model and item level. When changing stages, functions can be triggered, e.g. starting BPM processes. Also incoming process results can trigger a next stage.
