VanMeijel’s origins lie in the civil engineering. We also have a large number of companies which have been integrally automated using our solutions. The civil engineering processes are characterised by a significant dynamic. There is an enormous variety of projects – both in scope and complexity – and there are generally a large number of parties involved in realising these projects. An ICT system for surface, road and water construction thus also needs to be able to handle this dynamic optimally. The construction sector also includes companies which are active as specialist subcontractors or as capacity suppliers in the form of personnel and/or equipment. This market is designated as ‘industrial services’. The activities in industrial services differ from those in executing construction.
